Paradigm Films gives rise to new "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" fan film


Brandon Neil Schultz and his newly founded production company is developing a fresh new take on the cult horror classic The Town That Dreaded Sundown.

This “remake” is in association with daughter Pamula Pierce Barcelou, who’s father, Charles B Pierce, directed the original 1976 film.

Schultz said in a statement:

“At this moment, things are moving pretty slowly. I wrote a scary slasher screenplay, honoring the original films flavor. The original has a huge worldwide cult following in the horror world. I’m following through and need to make sure that the support is really there. I had always planned to finance it with private funding, so it could remain independent, like the original, but financing is a beast unto itself. However, if funding is in check, the film could start filming soon and release sometime next year.”
