LURK: A Fray Fan Film
Disclaimer: 100% of funds raised via Kickstarter were used to making this production possible. No monetary gain was made off this fan-film. All character copyrights belong to Joss Whedon and Dark Horse. We own nothing. In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer. Based on the characters created by Joss Whedon, this fan-film imagines one night in the futuristic city of Haddyn and the 19-year-old Slayer, Melaka Fray. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Sunwalker (Complete Edition, 2021)
Sunwalker is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan film from 2002. With a budget of around five dollars and a lead actress who left 1/3 of the way into filming, it shouldn’t work. Thanks to a hasty rewrite and some great performances from my friends, it somehow does. For this 19th anniversary edition I used AI enhancement software to clean up the main feature’s visual clarity which was poor to begin with. Edited with early 2000s software and shot on VHS, this one was already compressed to death. While passable on standard definition televisions of the day, it didn’t hold up on HD sets. While the upscaled image still retains many flaws of the analog source, if you squint, it's not bad. Included are bloopers, a deleted scene from before the rewrite, a rough trailer and production notes. Fluffy The English Vampire Slayer
This was created back in 2001-2002 by real huge Buffy fans. Some argue that they could not have been true fans to make this but I argue otherwise; the fun and dedication that went into making this film was all about love and admiration for a TV show that meant A LOT to all involved. Inspired by the Creator, Dark Overlord, Owner of All things Buffy & all round awesome guy Joss Whedon; Fluffy was the creation of one Henry Burrows of Foiled Productions purely because of an idea that more potential slayers must exist and that some must be truly awful or just downright gutted they didn't get picked despite all the training they always did in the idea that one day they too may get called forth to fight the good fight. Henry Burrows - if you see this and prefer it not to be here just let me know and I shall remove it. I just wanted to share the love. All Buffy & Buffy-verse things are belonging to Master Whedon however all things Fluffy are belonging to Master Burrows. Original Fluffy site can be seen here at http://www.fluffytheslayer.com/ Please feel free to comment.
