The Origin story of The Man In The Mask from “The Strangers” | The man who becomes “The Man In The Mask” is an unnamed plumber who quits his job to join the Italian Mob to hopefully get more money to support himself and his wife. Already desperate to hold his marriage together after many failed attempts, he finds out that his wife had an affair with his neighbor, and decides to not forgive her, nor leave her actions without consequence. Later that day after finding out, he equips himself with his signature burlap mask, and goes on a hit of his own, giving his neighbor the punishment he deserves for cheating with his wife. Just one night made him go insane, and turn into the infamous villain everyone knows him as.
