"The Barrens" was produced in three days during the summer of 2019 in the town of Bangor (aka Derry, Maine). It's the first fan film of its kind to use the actual locations that inspired Stephen King to write the novel which was released in 1986.
Evil reawakens in Derry and forces its hand to claim the lives it needs to return. When one of its pawns has a crisis of conscience however it must change its plans.
